An Orange County property management company has an immediate opening for a full time Accountant or Bookkeeper that will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting issues of the company.
A successful candidate MUST have the following TECHNICAL skills:
• A thorough knowledge of the basic accounting cycle.
• Knowledge of Trust Accounts, preferably in the property management or real estate sales field.
• Have a basic knowledge of California Department of Real Estate trust accounting rules.
• Have a thorough understanding of how to complete monthly bank/trust account reconciliations.
• Have experience using QuickBooks.
• Have experience posting transactions to a general ledger.
A successful candidate MUST have the following PERSONAL skills:
• Good communication skills (able to speak clearly with clients).
• Good organization skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Be reliable, punctual and detail oriented.
A plus, but not required is:
• Experience with Yardi or PROMAS property management accounting systems.
• A California Real Estate License.
• Real estate or property management experience.
This is a full time position. Compensation will be based on experience. The position also offers medical and dental benefits, three weeks paid time off, and potential annual bonuses based upon performance. We are located
in Santa Ana California and office hours are 8am-5pm.
