CSG Consultants, Inc. is a successful civil engineering company located in San Mateo. We are seeking an experienced Payroll and A/P Assistant. This is a full time position with excellent benefits.
Essential functions:
• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner in an in-house computerized payroll system.
• Reviews all payroll related issues including garnishments, time sheets, exemptions, insurance coverage, PTO and federal & State regulations
• Reviews timesheets for compliance with company policy and labor laws
• Generates spreadsheet reports as needed
• Keeps updated on wage and tax laws
• Evaluate and process AP invoices
• Reconcile vender accounts
• Process employee expense reports
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must have 5+ years of recent payroll and AP experience
• College degree preferred but not necessary
• Excellent Excel, Word skills with strong knowledge of financial systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across department lines.
• Must be a good problem solver and be able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and adapt to fast paced environment.
